A peek into our art room this week. How cool did these turn out?

Here's what we did:
1. Chose something to chop in half (fruit, veg, flower, etc).
2. Painted it big with acrylic paints, capturing the details.
3. Painted the background a complementary colour.
4. Used paint pens to add interesting patterns and details.

Simple and effective. I love how colourful they are!

This activity is one I offered them that I sent out as part of Inspiration Is Here a couple of weeks ago for World Art Day. If you want more inspiration like this, come join me and I'll send you the ideas we're using in our own home every week! Just comment INSPIRE and I'll send you all the details 💗
