The tree is up, there are twinkling lights everywhere, Christmas music is playing, and we are done with our normal unschooly things for the year!

I asked the girls if they had any projects they would like to finish up before the end of the year, and it was a 'no' from everyone. They are ready to turn fully to Christmas fun, traditions, family time, chilling out, baking, craft activities, and all the usual stuff!

We don't take any other breaks through the year, because we're really just following our interests anyway which doesn't feel repressive LOL. But, by the end of the year we're all feeling a bit worn out and switching to a whole new rhythm feels refreshing and special.

So, that's what we do. December is just Christmas fun, though we usually start towards the end of November and make the most of it.

We still have a lot of things planned, but with nowhere to be at a certain time, no dance classes, and Hubby on holidays, it feels waaaaay more relaxing lol.
