In January, we always make time to sit down together and talk about the year ahead.

We share ideas, interests, project plans, and the things we want more of (family and community connection, self-care, healthy habits, etc). We talk about what feels exciting right now, and the rhythm for our days and weeks.

I really recommend turning this into a whole event. The energy difference between “we need to talk about goals” and setting the table, sharing food, lighting a candle, decorating, putting on some music, and chatting together about what you’re excited about is huge.
