Something I'm having to get used to as my older gi
Something I'm having to get used to as my older girls get older is that they're not always here anymore 😂😭

They have work, classes, friends, their own plans and their own lives. And I love that! That's exactly what I want for them.

But we've always done so much together as a family that sometimes it feels weird to go and do something without everyone. I find myself thinking, oh we'll wait until everyone can come, or worrying that someone will miss out. The younger two feel the same!

But we really can't do that. My younger girls deserve all the things I did with the older girls too. We can't stop everything because people have other plans, or we'd miss out on so much.

So today, the three of us went nature journalling ❤️ We packed snacks, paints, cameras, journals, and enjoyed a couple of hours in nature.

The older girls were busy. They missed out. And that's actually completely fine.

I think this is just another stage of family life and homeschooling. Gosh I loved those little days where it was all of us, all the time. This feels new and a bit weird, but there's still so much to love.

Anyone else feeling this? 😢❤️
