I don't think the goal of education is to raise ad
I don't think the goal of education is to raise adults who know everything. I think it's to help children become people who know how to keep learning. And want to.

When I look at the adults I admire most, what stands out isn't how much they know, it's that they're still curious. They ask thoughtful questions, they seek out experts, they read widely, they compare ideas, they change their minds when the evidence changes, they know how to keep learning.

That's the kind of learning I'm trying to nurture. And through unschooling, I have kids who still love to learn. This gives me confidence that they will be able to learn anything they need in the future.

Capable adults aren't the ones with all the answers. They're the ones who know how to find them.

--------
We're really digging into practising the skills that capable adults need in 'Inspiration Is Here' right now. This week we're exploring curiosity, discernment, contribution, civic awareness, observation, and the habit of collecting ideas.

If you'd like practical invitations that help children grow into capable, curious adults, I'd love you to join us inside Inspiration Is Here. Head to the link in my profile to join me ♥
