We're always asking teens, "What do you want to do
We're always asking teens, "What do you want to do with your life?"
I think a better question is: "What are you participating in right now?"

Passion rarely appears before participation. It doesn't just come out of nowhere. Most people discover what they care about by participating in life. They get involved, they show up, they meet people, they try things, they become interested. Then, sometimes, those interests deepen into passions.

Participation precedes passion.

That's what we're focusing on this week in Inspiration is Here as part of our 'Raising Capable Teens' series. Stepping into your community, participating, showing up, and learning from others. That's how you discover your interests and community.
