The week that was…Natural learning
I don’t have much to share this week! Unfortunately, the baby girl was sick, so I spent a lot of time cuddling her and without my camera handy. So, while a lot of learning still happened, I wasn’t able to capture as much as usual. Nevertheless, here’s a few photos that I did manage to snap.
We started our Advent Calendar this week! The first day the girls made an advent wreath. This year they decorated it with things they found in the garden.
Star pictures. I love Miss 3’s. Can you tell she likes glitter?
Miss 5 used stencils.
Some crafting by my 5 year old. Making a giant doll.
Some Story Box Library.
Miss 5 spent a lot of the week making Christmas presents for her friends.
Name tags for the presents.
We are nearing the end of our second term at Ballet and Miss 3 in particular is really enjoying it.
Some Christmassy play dough.
A visit from Nanna who bought a decorate your own crown craft kit.
Miss 5: ‘I want to make mine all symmetrical. So, if you cut a line down the middle here it will be exactly the same on each side’.
More fairy world’s built with loose parts.
Some kind of made up game that involved rolling all these marbles around the Spielgaben lid!
That’s all from me for this week! Make sure you drop by HippyHappyMama, Memoirs of a Childhood, Racheous – Lovable Learning, and An Everyday Story to see what they’ve been up to!

Hope baby girl is all better now! Still a lovely week, love the star picture, it looks amazing on the black paper. Hannah painted a butterfly this week and made the design symmetrical too, I love how they just figure this stuff out on their own!! Hmmm, we might need to make some Christmassy play-dough as well. I love the name tags too 😉 so cute to see my litttlies names being written by their friends 😀 xx
She is much better thank you!
Love seeing natural learning just happen too!
Get well soon xx
